Hungry Grape News

About

HungryGrape.com was created with the vision of bringing together recommendations by users for great recipes, wines, and restaurants in one location. Most everyone struggles to balance family and busy careers. Trying to find time to prepare a meal, let alone pick out a bottle of wine to enjoy with the meal can be challenging to put it mildly. That said, it's typically the preparation of the meal that proves so difficult, not actually cooking and certainly not opening a bottle of wine. Everyone seems to have a great family recipe that has been passed down or know a friend with a great recipe, or wonderful wine recommendation. We decided to try to bring together the collective knowledge of friends and family in a fun, free, easy-to-use website. We also recognize that we all need a break from the kitchen so we incorporated a recommendation section for restaurants and an online directory of wineries for those looking to explore. The site is the result of an idea that grew into a labor of love. We aren't highly acclaimed chefs and while we have the benefit of years of consumption to our credit we aren't wine sommeliers. However, we love to eat, we totally enjoy a good bottle of wine, and we enjoy sharing what we learn. If you have a suggestion for the site please let us know. This site is for you and driven by you. A PB&J accompanied by a great glass of wine is still the house specialty!
