I recently had a bottle of Truchard Merlot and it was very good. It is a great Merlot to accompany most any dish during the holidays or as a sipping wine in its own right. Truchard vineyards actually supplies some of the grapes for better known brands like Cakebread and Frogs Leap so it is a quality wine at a fraction of the price.
